At Fit3D, innovation isn’t just a buzzword—it’s how we operate. We saw an opportunity to evolve, to make 3D body scanning more accessible, and we took it. With costs and margins tighter than ever for gyms, we felt it was the right thing to do to pass those savings directly to owners.
While we still offer our ProScanner for those who want a full hardware system, our new solution—SNAP—delivers the same power and accuracy at a fraction of the cost. By leveraging Samsung tablets with high-grade camera lenses, we’ve created a high-quality, low-cost scanning solution for under $500. This isn’t just a cheaper option—it’s the next generation of body scanning.
Both Fit3D SNAP and Styku offer:
- High-quality 3D body scans
- Progress reports and visual tracking
- Easy-to-understand metrics for fat loss, muscle gain, posture, and more
But here’s where Fit3D SNAP pulls ahead:
✅ No Costly Hardware – Just bring your own Android tablet.
✅ Quick Start – Download the app and begin scanning in minutes.
✅ 10x Lower Cost of Entry – Keep your budget where it belongs.
✅ Zero Downtime – If a tablet fails, grab a replacement locally and be back in business within the hour.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Don't you also have a 2nd Scanner Model?
Start with SNAP—the next generation of 3D body scanning. ProScanner was great, but it’s now our older model. We’ve learned a lot since then and poured that innovation into SNAP, making it better, faster, and more powerful.
Built on nearly a decade of experience, SNAP combines advanced AI with the latest tablet technology to deliver accurate, engaging results right at your fingertips. It’s seamless to set up, simple to operate, and flexible enough to fit into any fitness, wellness, or medical workflow.
SNAP makes it easy to spark data-driven conversations, track progress visually in 3D, and build deeper trust with your clients. While the ProScanner remains one of the most advanced systems on the market, SNAP was designed to go further—more mobile, more integrated, and more future-ready.
With SNAP, you’re not just scanning—you’re transforming how clients see themselves, stay motivated, and commit to long-term results. The future of body scanning is here, and it’s SNAP.
Does Fit3D offer financing like Styku?
Yes, you can finance SNAP—but most clients don’t find it necessary. Because SNAP is a Bring Your Own Device system, all you need is a compatible tablet, which can be picked up locally for a few hundred dollars. The setup is simple, the investment is minimal, and most customers prefer to get started right away without financing.

Why doesn’t SNAP use a turntable like other scanners?
Great question. Turntables were originally used because older computer vision systems required your body to stay perfectly still while the camera rotated around you. That’s the approach we took with our original ProScanner—and it’s still how systems like Styku and ShapeScale work today.
But technology has come a long way. Just like your phone’s camera has dramatically improved in the last five years, so has the AI behind 3D scanning. SNAP uses advanced computer vision models that can adjust in real time—even if you move slightly—eliminating the need for bulky, moving platforms.
Turntables might still look cool for marketing, but they’re no longer necessary. SNAP is faster, simpler, and more portable—without sacrificing quality.
We’ve embraced this innovation, and we’re passing it on to you.
Curious how it works? Try it yourself.
Don't you also have a 2nd Scanner Model?
Yes, however, we highly recommend SNAP over the ProScanner for most business owners.
Fit3D offers 2 models for scanning hardware. Our pricing is public & transparent for both products. Both products connect to the same back-end reporting module.
- Fit3D ProScanner: Pricing is listed here at 10K ( March 2025 ).
- SNAP by Fit3D: Technically SNAP is a BYOD hardware solution. We support a number of Samsung Galaxy Tablets which you can find online or at your local store starting at around $250. However, if you own one of these tablets already, you can use that. The cost of the hardware is the cost you can find at your local store or on amazon.
While the ProScanner remains one of the most advanced 3D body composition scanners on the market, rapid advancements in camera technology and AI have made it possible to deliver the same high-quality results at a fraction of the cost with SNAP. For most clients, SNAP is the smarter, more scalable choice—and we strongly believe every vendor should be making the shift.
