Fit3D
Revolutionizing Body Composition Analysis
At Fit3D, we believe progress should be visible, measurable, and accessible to everyone. That’s why we have reimagined body scanning to from the ground up.
The Evolution of Fit3D
Fit3D has evolved through multiple generations of 3D scanning technology. If you're interested in the broader industry shift from hardware scanners to AI-powered software scanning, read our article on the evolution of 3D body scanners.

The Early Vision (2011–2013)
Inspired by a personal fitness journey, Fit3D began developing a system that could capture a full 3D model of the human body and generate hundreds of body measurements in seconds.

Commercial 3D Body Scanning (2013–2018)
Fit3D launched its first generation of scanners used in gyms, clinics, and research facilities around the world. Thousands of scanners were deployed globally and millions of scans were captured.

Data & Algorithm Development (2018–2023)
With millions of scans collected, Fit3D built the world’s largest 3D body dataset, enabling major improvements in machine learning, body landmarking, and measurement accuracy.

The Software Era (2024+)
Fit3D introduced SNAP, a mobile scanning platform powered by computer vision and AI that removes the need for bulky hardware while maintaining the same measurement precision.
A Better Approach
for Fitness & Health Operators
Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) has been around for over 50 years. While it helped popularize the concept of body fat percentage, it relies on rough estimates and outdated assumptions.
Today, people want more than a single number. They want to see real progress.
At Fit3D, we focus on 3D body composition—capturing body fat, body shape, posture, and measurements in one visual scan. Instead of estimating change, 3D scanning maps it.
This approach helps gyms, clinics, and wellness businesses show clients exactly where their bodies are changing over time—creating a clearer, more motivating picture of progress.
With Fit3D SNAP, this technology is now available in a simple, affordable mobile scanner powered by modern computer vision and AI.

Our Story:
Why We Built Fit3D
The Inspiration
Greg saw his mother, Lynne, dedicating herself to improving her health with diets, workouts, and finally the right support from a nutritionist and trainer. Her transformation was real—stronger, healthier, and more confident.
The Challenge
Despite her progress, traditional tools—scales and outdated devices—failed to reflect her improvements. The numbers didn’t move, her motivation dropped, and eventually, she gave up.
The Realization
Greg recognized what those tools couldn’t show: the day-to-day changes in shape, posture, and overall health. He realized two things: real progress comes with professional guidance, and people need better ways to see it.
The Mission
That’s why Greg built Fit3D: to give fitness and wellness businesses the tools to motivate members and prove real results. Today, that mission continues through SNAP—the next generation of 3D body scanning.
